Summary
For her short lifetime Cecilia Dolores Agnes Friesen has struggled to navigate a life that’s defined by neglect, abuse, anxiety and a simmering desire for control. She’s talked with many strangers online but they were never more than words. Her latest partner, Halcyon, is drastically different. He’s older, and he listens and craves her with equal intensity. He makes her feel seen in ways no one else has.
He awakes something inside her. It gives her a sense of power, purpose, and validation. Losing her virginity to him is an awakening. It reshapes her life. Leaving her craving more.
Cecilia begins to pursue sex more as a way to soothe her self-loathing, loneliness, and to gain control and worth. However fleeting.
