He finds an old, cobbled-together treehouse. Inside is a ratty straw hat. Something about it seems familiar and, on a whim, he takes it with him when they leave.
It does not come alone.
Or: Ace, Sabo, and Luffy aren't going to let his precious Straw Hat go so easily, even in death. If that means haunting the Moby, then so be it

Summary
In the City of Raftel there is a hero, Phoenix and his partner Spade. Spade works behind the scenes, directing Phoenix with his trusty computer skills but one day Spade begins to act strangely when a new, though in truth he was actually an old, villains rises up and threatens their carefully balanced partnership.
What was worse was that there was nothing Phoenix could do to help Spade. He didn't know Spade's true identity and Spade didn't know his. So Phoenix would just have to sort this out himself and try to help Spade, and do his school work, and keep his family in line, and try not panic over his high school crush Portgas D. Ace!
Why was he a hero again?

Cale Henituse was supposed to be a small, uselessly useless, side-villain who only appeared in the first volume. His background story deserved empathy, but he was just an unimportant side character without a recurring appearance.
So when Kim Rok Soo transmigrated into that Cale Henituse, he was like, 'sure, let's do it. Do this and that, then hallelujah slacker life!'
However, that novel didn't say that Cale Trashy Henituse was suicidal?? Now people keep misunderstanding his intentions. He really really only wanted to live as a slacker!

However, little do either of them know that this small, sacred little item actually has the chance of leading them to the undiscovered ancient city of Hamunaptra, a place that Law has always dreamed of seeing with his own eyes.
But, in order to embark on this long journey of ancient discovery, Law finds himself having to partner up with the literal text-book definition of pure insanity in the form of a man named Monkey D. Luffy and the librarian soon finds himself swept up into more than just a simple expedition for knowledge as they uncover many secrets and horrors waiting for them out into the desert.
UPDATE: I am still working on this! I'm just currently focusing on my other fic: the fray at the moment! I'm unsure when I'll be posting the rest but I promise this story has not been dropped! <3
