"I can prove it to everyone," Grace says, his heart in his throat. "I'll - I'll make you and Rocky the most celebrated couple on Erid. I promise."
"Stupid human," Adrian hisses. "You would give up your chance for him just like that?"
"Yes," Grace says hoarsely.
"Anything for him."

Summary
John thinks it’s his heat speaking when the thoughts run through his head. Part of him is deeply apprehensive when he turns his gaze in his direction, catching the blond in his observation. They stand there together, the forest now quiet save for his panting and the occasional call of a bird. The alpha sways on his feet before tilting over, falling unconscious on his way down. 'What is Grace doing, question?'
It all started with that question. Grace going back for Rocky was never going to be something he regretted. Ever.
But then — on the way to Erid, problems that had been the last thing on his mind while on the journey to save his friend arose. Like privacy.—
Grace survives the journey to Erid, and maybe finds a new home there. Rocky and Adrian have a lot of love to give, and they're very creative. But maybe they'd like others to see just how wonderful their little humans is? How well he sings? Eridians are a very curious species, after all.
Or the fic in which Grace finds out eridians are nothing like humans (duh). They are highly competitive, love playing with others and don't mind sharing. Privacy doesn't really exist on Erid other than for eating. He finds out just how much they are willing to share.
