His sneer is mean with an edge of challenge, “He’s afraid of us. He always has been.”
Luke leans back in his seat. A grin promising chaos stretches along his lips as he diverts his attention from the god to the room full of campers, “It’s why he rid the world of our god.”
Dionysus freezes, arm stopping in the arc it had been about to toss his empty soda can at the kid’s head to get him to shut up.
The words land heavy in the room. Booming with potential and the stirring of questions, “The goddess of demigods.”

It was so easy to forget that Vil Shoenheit was a bonafide celebrity. One who had starred in numerous hit films, popular model magazines, and amassed a following of fans worldwide that could only ever be over shadowed by Neige Blanche. When you have the honor of seeing Vil so casually every day, he quickly finds his place in the marvelous student body of Night Raven College, and could be seen as just another “out of this world” student.
So for any other student, a casual outing should end with nothing more than happy smiles, and bags worth of shopping. But, the world was full of sharp reminders. So it didn't take long before they were once more reminded that Vil was more than just another student.

To predict the result of an experiment with over ninety-eight percent accuracy based on the observations he'd made so far. He did not often put himself into situations wherein he was not at least eighty-three percent certain of the outcome. Even the battle at Vee Tower had fallen within those margins, and whilst he had only given Velvette a fifty-nine percent chance of showing up, he had at least considered the possibility.
Situations with less certainty than that eighty-three percent made him nervous. He had tried to gather more data, but whilst Niffty was undeniably charming, she was also incredibly unpredictable. Baxter did not like unpredictable things.
At least – he thought he didn't.
