Alternatively: If Sonic had a nickel for every time he adopted a traumatized, twin-tailed fox he’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

“Like…Morally, or literally?”
“Let’s be generous and say both.”
He fights for control, but he already feels himself slipping away, his body refusing to wake up to this new nightmare.
