Sword looks as though a hurricane had mussed up his hair, his eyes blown wide, dazed, and his lips reddened and kiss-swollen. He blinks, taking a moment to process Rocket’s eyes on him (and oblivious to the amount of energy it’s currently taking to not drag Sword in for a kiss again), and simply asks, “…Your Highness?”
Rocket can feel the pink dusting his cheeks. Going out in the hall looking like the pinnacle of guilt would do no good for either of them. He swivels towards the door and begins walking, inwardly composing himself as he explains in a hushed voice, “We’re going back to our quarters.”
“Wha—?!” Sword starts, but Rocket's already pushing open the doors, gliding out into the hall with all the calm, controlled poise he’s used to exuding, and Sword scurries after him. When they turn a corner and find it empty, he takes the chance to whisper, “My liege, are you—do you need my assistance?”
His poor phrasing and scandalous tone is so embarrassing Rocket breaks his facade with a grimace, feeling color flood his cheeks, before he murmurs back a bedgrudging, “…Yes.”
Rocket and Sword haven't had much time together. A brief solution presents itself.
