Summary
Mizuki perplexed her. He was mysterious, and Anran wasn't sure she could call that a good thing. She couldn't say for certain it was a bad thing, either, but the mystery did leave her feeling slightly uneasy.
Wuyang, of course, felt differently. Anran caught the way her brother's eyes linger on the kappa, almost sparkling. She became distracted from the conversation she had been engaging in with Kiriko and Lúcio, her gaze solely set on the subtle change in her brother's behavior.
OR
Anran isn't sure what to think when she meets Mizuki for the first time, but he's certainly caught her eye. If only for the fact that he's clearly caught her brother, and already has him ensnared.

—————————"H‐Hey... take it easy," The man helping him, for some reason, says, "You're going to hurt yourself."
Mizuki laughs. Why this random man gives a damn makes no sense to him. He knows he's a bad person. Mizuki regrets it though, gasping and writhing in pain because existence has become excruciating. Still, he finds it within himself to vocalize his confusion, somehow, "Why... do you care?"
"Because you're hurt," He frowns. Only now has Mizuki realized just how good this stranger looks, short but muscular, with long black hair tied back into a bun, and a comfortable warm cheerfulness exuding from him through his hesistant smile, as though he was somehow untainted by the horrors of the universe.
OR
Hashimoto doesn't believe Mizuki is trying hard enough, and does away with him, intending to discard him like trash. Wuyang is the one to find him, barely breathing, barely alive.

Summary
There, floating in the water, was quite possibly the most beautiful human that Wuyang had ever laid eyes on. The figure was a fit young man with sharp eyes that seemed to glow with an enchanting teal color and silver white hair that glistened like snow from the water droplets coating it. With the gradually dying evening sunlight casting down on his face and the surface of the water he was surrounded by, he looked like some sort of divine deity.

Wuyang instantly falls for Mizuki. Mizuki can't help but find him charming.

Summary
"Fruit shouldn't be able to eat you back," Mizuki hissed before taking a big gulp of water. He felt less like he was dying, now that he was actually intaking water and was in an air conditioned building.
"Pineapple is so good though," Lúcio said, "It's one of my favorites." He popped a rather large chunk into his mouth, as if to prove his point.
"I like it too!" Wuyang piped up cheerfully, "It's sweet and a little tangy. Probably one of my favorites too!"
"Have you even tried pineapple?" Kiriko's eyes narrowed at Mizuki, "You're fine with a lot of stuff similar to it."
Mizuki scoffed, "I'm not eating a fruit that eats me back."
OR
Wuyang convinces Mizuki to try pineapple simply by being too cute to resist. Mizuki isn't a fan, but finds he really likes mangos and not when they're in his mouth.

Anran Ye deals with threats of global terrorism, complex hard-light mechanics, and the volatile nature of Zhuque flame with perfect, disciplined efficiency. Lúcio Correia dos Santos, however, is a variable she cannot calculate.
Between training sessions that turn into dance offs, late-night repairs that turn into therapy, and a very spicy batch of Mapo Tofu, Anran realizes that some rhythms can’t be studied—they just have to be felt.

Summary
Wuyang Ye has no problem helping the new Overwatch agent, Mizuki Kawano, cover all his bases when it comes to warding off bad luck. That is, until the day Mizuki’s long-standing streak of misfortune manifests in the form of an illness neither of them could have ever predicted. Wuyang takes it upon himself to try and find some answers as well as a spark of good luck. As time slips by, however, he's not sure if he can work faster than the spirits haunting Mizuki - or Talon, whose next strike is expected any day now.

Summary
Mizuki Kawano was born cursed. He watched the curse slowly destroy everything he held dear: his grandparents, his mother, his life in Fukuoka, and finally, his father. After being taken in by the Hashimoto, Mizuki knew he was next. His father had died disobeying the Hashimoto: if he just did what they said, drove a few getaway cars, robbed a few stores, he'd be fine, right?
So that's what Mizuki did: spend his days doing things he'd rather not dwell on, and spend his nights talking with his mentor, Toshiro Yamagami. But when Mizuki finally earned enough reputation within the Hashimoto to get assigned to a solo mission in China, he knew this was his chance. He just had to succeed, and then the curse would be broken.
He knew he'd have to step on a few toes. Hurt a few innocent people. Betray a few friends. Get intel on the two new Overwatch recruits. Learn what made them snap, and what destroyed them-- both physically and emotionally. But Mizuki was willing to anything to break the curse.
Or so he thought.
But that's when he met Wuyang Ye.
