Izuku threw himself so suddenly in Katsuki’s path that everyone froze. His arms were spread wide. His back was pressed firmly against Kirishima and Shinsou as if he could protect them.
“Izuku!” Kirishima screamed.
Katsuki’s eyes widened.
“What the hell are you doing Deku?”
Izuku didn’t answer. He couldn’t. Something deep inside him...Cracked. Then it spread, not painfully, inevitably. His heartbeat thundered against his ribs, and his breathing became uneven. Heat flooded every muscle until his knees buckled.
