When Peter gets a gray soulmark on his eighteenth birthday, one that he's seen a million times on the wrist of the man he loved, his whole world shatters. The weight of Tony's death already a heavy burden to bear, he's not entirely sure how he'll make it through the rest of his life without him. As the years go by, he tries to heal, but between the mark on his wrist and the echos of a video message he can't even finish in his mind, it seems like he'll never truly recover. But four years after Tony's death he makes a discovery that might just give him a chance.
The chance to change his soulmark from haunting gray to beautiful color.

Summary
It's been eleven years since a summer romance under the stars flipped Peter's life upside down. Now he's a single dad walking into a job interview, which is definitely a bad idea, considering his boss would be his summer fling and the father of his child, who doesn't know she exists. But it shouldn't matter; it's not like he'd see Tony Stark ever again, just working as a lab tech, except that the job is no simple lab position, but rather a once-in-a-lifetime chance to work for the Avengers and live on the compound. Peter shouldn't take it. He should run far away from Tony and leave the past behind.
But people do funny things when they're still in love.

Summary
When a former high school friend shows up pregnant and needing help, Peter is the last person to say no. Thankfully his twin brother wasn't the type to argue with his somewhat rash decisions.
Now they are guardians to a genius infant and doing everything possible to keep their head's above water.
It's maybe a bad time for Peter to let his own genius get away from him while he's working a cleaning job at Stark Industries. But who could blame him, when the same formula had just been sitting there and taunting him?
