    Wilbur looks behind him. The brute didn’t seem to be behind him anymore. Which couldn’t be a good sign. 

    So he skids to a halt and ducks into an alley. If the brute had skedaddled off to set up an ambush, Wilbur did not want to be there. 

    He carefully scans the people walking down the street. Regular dudes and gals. Just doing normal human things. 

    A hybrid or two crossed his line of sight, but no piglins. Especially none big enough to be a brute. There had been a pair of elytrians that had peaked his interest. 

    Not that Wilbur particularly cared about that. 

    No… he was far more invested in the gold strands that rested on the father-son duo’s heads. Too bad kidnapping was illegal. 

    “What we lookin’ at?” A monotone voice behind him asks. 

    Frick.

    The Blood King found him.

    Wilbur might have stolen something from the Blood King. And now the Blood King has found out that Wilbur is a runt.

    Tommy was really bored. Honestly sitting in exile was kinda boring. Sure, it had been exciting to be a part of the plot of whatever was happening, but he hadn’t expected it to be this boring. 

    And Dream wasn’t even doing anything exciting! Just “I’m your only friend, only person who cares” blah blah.

    Short fic where Tommy is trying his best to not let on that he isn't quite who people think he is while also keeping his family's identities hidden too.
    But honestly, he doesn't fully understand why they're really trying to keep it hidden other than the thrill of it.
    Except he and Wilbur accidentally let it loose and now they have to deal with it.
