Looking up at the stars like this always made her think of Vash. They spent so many nights out on the truck’s trailer, stargazing and talking about everything and nothing. Mostly nothing at first, because Vash was evasive by nature. But as things unfolded, they talked about the things that mattered—fears, hopes, dreams and all of the microcosms they were built upon.
She fell in love with Vash the Stampede under those stars. If a God was real and out there, then that meant he created someone like Vash, and what a glorious and stunning creation he was.
