Summary
He fumbles around to sense how far his powers will be able to take him in his current state. It’s a miracle he hasn’t passed out yet, probably due to the adrenaline and his inner systems focusing all of his energy to stabilize his head, which would explain the rapid decline of the rest of his body. He manages to reach a lightbulb two floors below his room. Good enough. He zaps into his CPU and is quickly spat out into a poorly lit hallway in the hotel.

I’ve had a 15k words long outline for a longfic sitting around for a year and i’m not exactly sure if it will be written. So, here’s a scene i randomly wrote back around july-september 2024 for a part that takes place after someone tries to kill Vox in his office in the middle of the night.

Summary
When a petty joke from the suggestion box gets twisted up into an entirely new adventure by Caine, the entire cast has their genders swapped for the day: the boys are girls, the girls are boys, and Zooble is—well, Zooble with a hue shift.
For most, it’s awkward, and maybe a little bit funny in places. All they have to do is coach each other through a series of whatever Caine’s ideas on stereotypical, 'gendered activities' are, and they’ll go back to normal.
For Jax, however…
It’s perhaps a bit of an eye-opener.
(Or: In a move that surprises everyone but makes complete sense in hindsight, it turns out that Jax actually is an egg that needs to be cracked open.)

"“I’ve found it!” The other line was silent for a moment, before a dry voice crackled through.
“Your brain?” The light-hearted dig did nothing to falter Vox’s over-bubbling excitement, he couldn’t keep his legs still if he tried as he let them swing happily under the privacy of his own desk.
“No, an apartment! The perfect one!” Another beat of silence followed, before Alastor decided to respond.
“Vox, dear, you’ve said that about every single apartment you’ve found.” His husband’s voice dripped with dry amusement. “And they have all been far from perfect. Not even close to acceptable, even.”
“That might…be true, but this one’s different, alright, I know you’re gonna like it.” Alastor hummed thoughtfully on the other side of the line.
”Willing to bet?”"
Apartment hunting for the most pickiest sinner in all of hell isn't an easy feat, but Vox has a good feeling about this one! Good enough to bet on it even.

Summary
In the months after Vox's victory, Lucifer has been reduced to a dormant linchpin Vox wields to stay in power. In an attempt to appease Alastor, Vox finally finds a good use for the angel. He couldn't have predicted the wave of buried feelings that would resurface with this decision.
(An AU where Vox conquered Heaven and Lucifer didn't escape captivity. Vox rules supreme. Alastor gets special treatment. Lucifer doesn't.)

Summary
An au in which Vox never made the offer for a partnership and his relationship with Alastor was allowed to bloom into something more.
It takes place in the modern day. Alastor and Vox are secretly in love and they get engaged. Due to the nature of their established rivalry and Alastor's reputation as a heartless, cold-blooded killer, no one believes he agreed to the marriage of his own free will. Under the impression that Vox has hypnotized Alastor, Charlie embarks on a mission to rescue him from the Media Overlord.
Trying to capture a livid Radio Demon who very much does NOT want to be "saved" goes as well as expected.
