Summary
Gilbert is captain of the ice hockey team.
Anne has been infamously photographing him during the summer for a school assignment.
Everyone knows this.They also know three other things:
Anne has no photos of Gilbert to explain all the time they spent together;
Gilbert has banned dating during the hockey season;
And season starts next week.------
"You are so horny when you're winning," Anne muses, shaking her head.
"Says the one who was making out with some guy for three hours this morning," Gilbert mutters, head bent to his laptop.
Anne scoffs a laugh. "That comeback doesn't work when you were the 'some guy' I was making out with."
Gilbert mimicks her in a high pitched voice, still typing at his keyboard.

"Shut up," she whispers, harsh to compensate for how upset it makes her, how unfair it is, how much Noah showed her she was missing. "You'll wake Ronan."

Summary

"What were you two doing in the same room last night?" Diana asks suspiciously.
Gilbert sighs, opening up his neurology textbook. "Why, sex, of course."
Anne kicks his shin and rolls her eyes. "We were not having sex," she tells Diana. "We were organising something for my photography assignment, and I fell asleep, okay?"
Diana pauses. "Allow me to rephrase: What were you two doing in the same room this morning? And by what, I don't mean why."
A bright burn rises on the cheeks of both Anne and Gilbert.
"We were just-" Anne sighs, "-you know, mucking around."
Without looking up, Diana asks daintily, "And by mucking, do you mean 'making', and by around do you mean 'out'?"

Summary

Plot: Anne and Gil make out a bunch after season finale and school
Characterisation: lol nope. Diana's way too comfortable with sex, Anne is trying too hard to be seductive and is too embarrassed. Gilbert is just… no. Matthew hates Gilbert which is wrong and Marilla is just… no.
Writing: s'ok. But the internal thoughts are major cringe
Romance scenes: yes. Lots of making out and grinding and there's fingering in the last chapter. Literally, make out scenes every chapter

Characterisation: a bit off, but I appreciate it's just another interpretation from canon. Anne is very Adelaide!
