Summary
Yagi Toshinori, werewolf hero of the Vampire Wars, retires and settles down on the edge of a small town, away from the hustle and bustle of his former city life. There, he meets his new "witch leash," a tired apothecary owner by name of Aizawa Shouta, as well as his sister, Midoriya Inko, her son Izuku, and Aizawa's two best friends, Yamada Hizashi and Kayama Nemuri.
There are a few bumps in the road, involving chickens, accidental self-poisoning, and a child, but Toshinori finds himself more at home here than he ever was as a 'war hero'.

But Donnie's been working on something in secret - something that'll hopefully turn things around for the turtles, so nothing bad ever happens to them again. But the road to hell is paved with good intentions, proving once again that nothing can be normal for long in the city of New York.

This is actually much more than leading a (technically injured) ally away from the scene of a battle and into safe custody, because Aizawa really, really doesn't need the holy grail of protective masculinity and his violent gay awakening incarnate standing there and making curious, flirtatious eyes at him every time they stop for a cross-walk signal.
