Michael is done with this bull. He's done. He let the flames consume him wanting to rest. Even if he can't move on. However, life is in fact, a bitch. Izuku Midoriya wasn't fast enough to catch All Might as he leapt away... leaving him at the mercy of the remnant of Queen Bee buried behind the tunnel's brickwork. Instead of Queen Bee taking control of him, however, Izuku is who comes out on top, leaving the swarm under his control... and his body now registering a new quirk to adapt to.
