Summary
Beginning her journey at the school of her dreams, Midoriya Izumi never could have imagined just how she had made it. She endured years of abuse at the hands of her peers and childhood friend for something outside of her control, her resolve slowly flaking away until the worst day of her life led to her heroic potential being finally recognized by All Might of all people. Inheriting his quirk, she grapples with the immense burden of becoming an even greater hero than the Symbol of Peace himself.
Kirihana Taiko is tired. A social outcast due to his quirk, he struggles against his very nature as he clings to his dimming hope of becoming a hero. Every day feels like a fight for survival, but making it into UA means that he is one step closer to achieving his dream. Maybe with it, a way to ease the burden of his quirk, and of a society quick to cast judgement on him and so many others for something he never could have wanted.
