Summary
She catches up to him at the stony entrance to the tidal pools and deja vu thrums through her as he begins to pull off his shirt.
“What are you doing?” it comes out accusatory.
“Bathing.” he replies, and starts on his pants.
She spins to turn away from his rapidly revealing flesh. The sound of clothing falling at his feet is almost indecent.

“When you’re ready.” Qimir stared into her eyes, his words woven with promise and caution.“It takes a toll on the healer. Every wound you close is an exchange for your own vitality. The greater the damage, the higher the cost.”
