Summary
Cloud has dedicated his life to hunting vampires after his friend’s disappearance. He doesn’t know for a fact that Zack was taken by them, but it’s the only lead he has.
When Cloud finds evidence of this from a vampire lair, he knows he’s close. What he doesn’t know is that he was lured into a trap—and the vampires aren’t going to let him go.
Just as Cloud thinks he’s going to die, he’s saved by another, older vampire. In order to preserve Cloud’s spirit, Sephiroth bites him and binds them together.
Cloud hates vampires, always has. Now, welcomed into a coven of them, he has only two choices: let himself wither away, or embrace eternity.

Summary
The damage Sephiroth has caused to the planet was unforgiven- the stigma, the meteor fall, the death of innocent souls, and the trauma. Grief and suffering in the long destroyed streets of a broken down city. During Cloud and Sephiroths battle, Gaia decided to take her golden champion back in time, back when he was a Cadet with his knowledge and memories of the future. Cloud, who isn’t given much of a choice accepts, at least this time his loved ones would likely have a better life, no deaths, no struggles, and most importantly, no more battling with the fear of their planet being destroyed.
