Summary
Hyunjin lets his eyes fall closed, inhaling deeply to attempt to calm himself. He doesn’t need the oxygen—his lungs have long since stopped requiring it—but when he’s stressed, he finds himself repeating the same centering techniques he’d used in his own human years.
“Tell me,” Hyunjin grits between his teeth, eyes still closed as Jeongin whimpers, “that you did not imprint on a fucking wolf, Jeongin.”
A pathetic whine answers him, and Hyunjin shoves his hand away, pushing hard enough on Jeongin’s neck that he stumbles backward. Hyunjin’s eyes open as his fledgling falls, landing on his knees with a dull thud.

Summary
“Are you hurt, Felix? Where is the blood coming from?” Minho asks.
Felix shakes his head. “I don’t know. I’m not in any pain. I’m sore, but there’s no pain.” Minho nods. “You?”
Minho echoes his sentiments. “Same. I’m not hurt, and…” He looks down at his arms and hands. Like everything else in the area, it’s splattered with blood. He notices it dried under his fingernails, and he starts to think he might be sick. “This isn’t mine.”

Summary
Jisung didn’t know what possessed him that night. He knew it was stupid, idiotic, downright insane to go into the woods, especially at night, especially alone. But something drew him there, led him down the trail behind the high school and into one of the parts of the woods where people most commonly didn’t come back from.

“Don’t be scared, I won’t hurt you, pretty.” The vampire’s voice was much softer than he’d expected, and he blinked in surprise while the man wiped the corner of his mouth and licked the blood– his blood– from his fingers. He opened his mouth to try to speak, but his voice wouldn’t come, only an undignified squeak, and his cheeks flushed as the vampire’s expression melted into one of fondness. Why was he blushing? “Oh, baby, you are even cuter up close.”

OR: human Jisung is having a minor mental health crisis and wanders into the woods at night on a very special day, meets the most beautiful man he's ever seen, and gets much more than he ever could have imagined.
