Hans stared in shock, heartbeat beginning to pound in his ears at the thought. Demons terrified him, truly one of the few things that genuinely frightened him and this woman had immediately guessed it.
Henry barked out a laugh.
Hans whipped around "How did she know that?"
The woman only patted the blanket beside her "Sit."
"No."

Summary
An episodic series covering what I imagine would happen after the main quest ends!
This series has a chronological progression (mostly character development not so much plot) but I write each fic as a stand alone by including any necessary info. Otherwise they’ll just have minor, inconsequential "if ya know ya know" type callbacks. (But hey, why not read all of them just to be safe… teehee)

Henry stared at him in growing horror “Hans.”Hans attempted a wink. What emerged instead was a slow, synchronised closing of both eyes, less conspiratorial charm, more drowsy owl struggling with consciousness.
Henry exhaled, long and patient, as the last of his amusement gave way to inevitability “Yes,” he muttered, pushing himself to his feet and reaching for Hans’ shoulder, steadying him before he could slide any further sideways, “we are absolutely going home.”
Hans made a vague noise of protest, his grip tightening instinctively around the bottle like a soldier refusing to abandon his post.
