Summary: Death always had a strange sense of humour, so when his Master was hit by the killing curse courtesy of his “best friends” he brought him back through time to the one he loved beyond everything but who had been ripped from him during the war. What Death however hadn’t put into consideration is that his Master would deem this a perfect opportunity to have some fun on his own and give Dumbledore a big fat SCREW YOU.

Summary
It has had many names over the years - Melancholia is the one he is most familiar with, but Depression is the modern day term.
Hob Gadling had hoped that for once, he would escape its clutches after his centennial visit from his stranger (now friend). Especially with the promise of another visit much sooner than one hundred years.
However, he's not that lucky - but this time, he has something he did not have before. A friend, who is not willing to be driven away.

Summary
“Is that why you missed our meeting then? Some fucker had you in a cage?”
There’s a slight growl in Hobs voice as he has to speak his friend's fate aloud, he expects him to again be amused by Hobs anger but he simply looks away towards the window with no clear expression.
“…perhaps.” There’s no real intonation in his tone and Hob feels a brief stab of anxiety over what that could mean.
