Random folks they come across long enough to hear the banter between the two, which with Astarion’s need for constant teases and digs into Tav’s constant need to help every miserable stray they come across, happens quick enough.Overall, everyone and their mother knows. A door slams.
It takes a minute to two before Rei hears the footsteps coming. Rara winces, throws her a worried side-eye then quickly leaves before he gets there- probably to go check on her own kids or husband.
Rei heaves a small sigh through her snout, and turns back to the boiling stew, stirring as she waits.
Leo pushes past the doorway’s curtains, muttering words that, thankfully because of her big fox ears, Rei can hear loud enough.“Why won’t he just listen? I’m not asking too much, just..”
“I suppose the talk with Elias didn’t go as well?”
Leo’s short snout scrunches, “No. He didn’t even listen all the way before trying to interrupt me and-”“He’s 14, Liebling.”

Summary
Rei’s learned so much in life already and she’s only 17. She learned her daily routine to a T. Learned how to hold her sword at just the right angle to get the desired swing. Learned what it means to be a scout, how to crawl through vents, get through those treacherous doors that lead to her target.
She’s learned how to be a leader, one that protects her own, cares for her own, how her life may be the only thing that changes the fate of the people- people who trust her from all over the galaxy and back. Trust she learned that she didn’t have to fight all for; the trust of her girls was something forged from blackmail to friendship to joint fellowship.
Part of that trust is what she put into Rara when the hyena swayed her into having one on one time with their new alliance’s leader, Leonardo- eldest of the turtle boys they met.

Every time Cullen sends his Inquisitor to battle, it doesn’t get any easier.
Well, the first time, admittedly was. They were a small organization at first, the beginning stages of becoming the unknowingly soon famed Inquisition, sole goal in mind to stop the Breach and stop whoever was it’s creator.
Afterall, there was no real dangers she would come across at the time other than the aftermath of the Mage and Templar war. And perhaps her sly comments didn’t help how casual he felt about waving her off. She could handle herself. She’s apparently been doing so while protecting her twin and qunari partner in crime for the past 10 years now.
He ignores how he saw her heading to the medic area, holding her side with a faux smirk. He nods to her and she does vice versa towards him. Even waving at him with her free arm, eyes in a teasing squint.
