Summary
“I just—” Duke stops. He doesn’t know how to say this, not in a way that Jason would understand. “I don’ know how to put it inta words.”
Jason nods, quiet understanding shining in his blue-green eyes.
“You guys are just really close, I think.” Duke thinks about how easy the ribbing, friendly competition, and banter are between the others, and he feels displaced. Like a broken branch grafted onto a different family tree.
Like he doesn’t belong.
“I just don’t—” He sighs, “I just don’t know where I fit into all of that, I guess.”
—
Or, Jason and Duke chat and navigate homesickness.

Summary
Jason was so gentle, so compassionate. There was a fire in him that ached to do good, to be just, even at his own expense. Bruce only wished that fire wouldn’t swallow him whole.
Five times Bruce comforts Jason, and one time Jason comforts Bruce.

Summary
A series beginning with Bruce Wayne finally deciding to go to therapy, and the ripple effect afterwards. Most will be hurt/comfort in some fashion with a lot of Bat Dad, a lot of sibling relationships and a lot of Jason Todd because he’s my fav.
This is something of an attempt to consolidate both Bruce’s original characterization pre-crisis, and his more current one, to explain why he is as he is now, and to get him back to where he once was. A good dad who struggled with his own shortcomings and cared about his kids.

Summary
Jason Todd has always been angry. How else would he have survived?
As he reconciles with his family, he realizes he can’t be angry around them. What might this cost him?
—————————————————
Even starving and alone and terrified, he’d had the good sense to be angry about it. Anger was useful. It pointed at the thing that was wrong and said do something, said you are more than this, said survive.
