Summary
When Public Health Canada approaches Shane about being the face of a sexual health campaign targeted at queer men, Shane’s old fears bubble to the surface. He never wanted to be known as a gay activist but he is sick of feeling like he is letting his new-found community down as he tries to focus on his first season as an Ottawa Centaur. A new friendship with a PWHL star and the unswerving adoration of his husband Ilya help him navigate questions of guilt, identity and what we owe each other, all while he tries to win another damn cup.
Part of a series but can be read alone.

Summary
Shane knew he was like his mother. It was unavoidable. No one looked at the two of them and doubted the genetic connection, let alone when either of them spoke.
All this to say, he was used to being known as Yuna Hollander's son. It was something he hardly thought about. He had gotten equally used to people not recognizing him as David Hollander's son.
This all together should have softened the jolt of shock when Ilya got mistaken for being David Hollander's son, when Shane had rarely had that experience before.
It did not.
____Or: since everyone in fic says shane looks just like his mom, i decided he was going to have *feelings* about it and what's that? ilya coming in to make things emotional in a new way? oh no! :)

Summary
“He’d probably wear a rash guard on the beach because too much sunlight would kill him.” Ilya murmured on their drive over the private resort. He had an obnoxious Hawaiian shirt on that shifted with every slight wind that came from the rolled down window.
“You’d hate him for doing anything, it’s honestly impressive.” Sasha snorted in laughter. He really admired Ilya’s dedication to finding things to be annoyed about.
“He makes it easy.” Ilya resorted to his default response.
Five times Sasha meets his boyfriend’s work enemy, Shane Hollander, and the one time he meets his ex’s husband, who is also Shane Hollander.

Summary
Ilya considers himself a reasonable man. Sure, one might say he’s more obsessed with Shane than is strictly healthy, but it’d be more unreasonable if he had the king of hockey in his bed (and in his heart) and he wasn’t obsessed. Still, he’d like to think that he’s above becoming jealous of fictional characters. And he is above it. Of course he is. It would have been one thing if Shane had told Ilya about his childhood crush on Anakin Skywalker at the beginning of May, when they had a summer-long stretch of lazy weekends at the cottage and busy days at the Irina Foundation and warm bright mornings where Ilya gets to watch Shane wake up in his arms.
But it’s late September, and Ilya’s mad at everything.
Or: Ilya finds out about Shane’s childhood crush on a certain tortured Jedi, and it dredges up old insecurities.
