Well, he was, and he wasn’t. It was enough in the sense that Raizel made it enough, that he stood there for long enough that he had convinced himself so, to what success no one could say. Least of all him. But Raizel thought that he knew. His wants were there, buried deep inside him, locked away tightly lest they interfere with his duty.
