Eddie froze. "Tell me you did not just grab a cookie from that box." He said, pointing toward the box that held his love potion.
"I did, why?" Evan asked, licking chocolate from his fingers.

Eddie watched him leave, standing in the same spot he'd first seen Buck and left with more questions than answers.

The man didn't even glance at him. It pissed him off. Buck disappeared for a whole year, then had the audacity to act like he didn't know him?
He approached the counter, taking one of the available seats. Up close it was obvious, Buck was right in front of him.
The blonde approached him, not a hint of recognition in his eyes as he smiled. He had a name tag on his uniform, Derek. "What can I do for ya?" That accent sounded wrong on Buck, it wasn't being used to tease Eddie. It seemed so natural Eddie wanted to gag.
