E se Mare tivesse aceitado ficar ao lado de Maven quando ele lhe propôs que fosse sua Rainha Vermelha? Qual seria o cenário para o início de um segundo livro cheio de intrigas e maquinações na corte? Quais seriam as preocupações de Barrow? E os sentimentos do falso-rei Calore? Essa fanfic dará um gostinho de como eu imagino que seria o início do livro "Espada de vidro" caso algumas poucas decisões dos personagens tivessem sido tomadas de forma diferente.

Escrevi essa fanfic no início de 2022, após terminar o último livro da saga de Rainha Vermelha, e ao revisitá-la, decidi compartilhá-la com o mundo uma segunda vez.

What if Mare had accepted Maven’s proposal to stand by his side when he asked her to be his Red Queen? What would be the landscape for the beginning of a second book filled with court intrigues and machinations? What would Barrow’s concerns be? And the feelings of the false king, Calore? This fanfiction will give a taste of how I imagine the beginning of the book "Glass Sword" would be if a few decisions by the characters had been made differently.
