    A girl who is bound to the service of a man like Rumplestiltskin and lives entirely at his whim has few, if any, choices, and Belle knows the reality of her situation intimately- even if she thinks that she might like him at times, there is always that fact. When Rumplestiltskin brings home a dangerous plant for a spell, though, and Belle becomes infected by its seeds, her precarious safety from him vanishes: sex is the only treatment, and he is determined to do whatever he must to cure her.

    But Belle has faced choices that were no choice at all before, and carved out her own choice in spite of it. She will just have to find a way to do it again.

    Robert Gold, many years ago, wrote a very, very silly short story as part of a very, very silly fantasy romance anthology. He was young, needed the money, and has successfully put it out of his head as he nurses a crush on librarian Belle French. She's an avid reader, but it's not like she's actually read his obscure little story, right?

    Meanwhile, Belle French wrestles with her growing feelings for antiques dealer Robert Gold and begins to become suspicious of how he shares so many traits with the impish main character from one of her lifelong favorite (and mysteriously authored) stories.

    Neal Gold is a gleefully meddlesome bitch.

    *I've plotted this out and it will be 10 chapters -- posted weekly on Sundays or likely more frequently as the voices in my head demand*
