Summary
All Kinra wanted was for her and her younger brother to be accepted in their small sea hold south of Boll. Already socially outcast, and unable to leave her aging grandfather, it seems like her best bet is to learn to keep the lighthouse going, and hopefully send her brother away on an apprenticeship in due time. But when she begins to experience visions of a catastrophic storm, her grandfather urges her to use her gifts to try to save the holders who scorn her. Can she save Narenar Hold? Is there a different fate in store for her than becoming the lonely keeper of the lighthouse?
