Colt has been thrown off buildings, has been set on fire, even had to pretend to be bitten by a dog. Colt hasn't been this afraid since his dad was alive. Despite his hand shaking, threatening to drop his phone, Colt kept a firm grip to listen to the rest of the voicemail.
"Colt! No!” Suddenly, Colt heard grunts and it sounded like the phone had fallen.
“Don't do it, don't, don't - Colt!”
Ryland Grace was gone. Not dead, at least not for a while. He wasn't missing. He's just gone. Simply disappeared from the Earth, leaving behind a huge family that simply can't shake the grief of their missing family member. Ryland Grace was in space, unable to remember his family. His family was on Earth, unable to forget him.
Or: what happens on Earth after Grace is taken on the Hail Mary.

I feel a big need for Bloodymary fan fiction that is pre Rocky. I want these men to build the start of a friendship before introducing the beloved rock spider.
