Summary
A complicated AU that's still kinda Canon Compliant where Avid is the monster that attacked Avid, and that the forest the kids got lost in leads to Limbo. Yeah, you read that right.
This is a cycle that's been going on for years, but one thing is changed when the demon decides she wants to mix things up. So, one time, the monster spares Elle. Avid lives longer because of this, and he breaks the cycle when the two children enter Limbo yet again.Now in modern day, Scott, Shelby, and Drift are having their yearly Oakhurst visit. And there they meet a man who looks an awful lot like Avid, and a woman with him named Elle. But they're both completely human: no illness, no vampirism, nothing.
But they're rather interested in the supernatural, having met some sort of hybrid creature in their youth who led them home when they got lost. Wonder who that could be?P.S. I have no idea what I'm doing

But the logical plots playing her brain rung false to her heart's drum. It made sense, its rhythm had always bent and curved to Shubble’s will—every laugh made it sputter, every compliment made it soar, every concern made it ache.

Summary
Gem and Pearl had a sweet little relationship before the Rapture occurred within their world. Gem couldn't handle not being able to be with the love of her life so she uses her magic to jump through worlds to find her love. In almost every world, she met different versions of her Pearl and her heart sank each time she slightly fell for the different versions of Pearl. She gets to see glimpses of her love while being stuck in AfterLife SMP. After that world ended she got to see her love once more before being forced into a new world as well as her original world which has healed. Her original world had no version of Pearl and her Pearl was not there however the other world had a version of Pearl. While although her original world didn't have a Pearl she was able to see her own love face to face and get to hold her once more. Will Gem ever end back up with her love once more after the ending of Empires S2 and HermitCraft S9?
