The whole thing was starting to feel a little silly.
Grace had guided Simon into the bedroom of their new home. Now they sat cross legged, facing each other on the mattress.
It had been about a month since they'd first kissed. Grace definitely, definitely wasn’t counting the days. They had snuck a few more kisses in here and there. They were becoming more frequent, and more intense, but that was it.
Simon had finally let it slip that he didn't really know what else was even an option. It wasn’t something they educated him about on Eden. He’d been a little young to be taught on Mars, either. Simon said he never had much interest in experimenting before, at least not with anyone but himself.
Grace wasn't going to go full sex-ed teacher on the man. Still, he expressed curiosity, so they were here now to… figure it out.Series

Summary
He moves to look away, but Grace doesn't get up from the bed. No, instead he pushes his right hand into his boxers. A shaky breath leaves his mouth and Simon freezes.
"You're being crazy," Grace says to himself. He reaches up to pull his glasses off with his free hand, and shoves them haphazardly onto the bedside table (nearly missing and dropping them on the carpet).
His hand below the fabric begins to move, and Simon thinks he's going to lose his mind. He must have lost it already, because this not only feels invasive, but also so wrong.
Simon finds a room away from everyone else so he has some time to himself. He finds himself regretting his decision of keeping it from Grace.

The look on his coworker’s face is irrevocably priceless. Simon can almost hear the gears turning in his brain. Before Grace has the chance to say anything in response, Simon continues. “You know. If you want. I’m not a professional or anything, but if your back’s really bothering you I don’t mind.”
Grace’s mouth opens slightly, then closes, then opens again. It hangs ajar for a few moments, before heavy words tumble out. “I mean… sure. Since you’re offering.”

Grace grabbed the bottom of his t-shirt, the one that read ‘I had potential’ and pulled it up over his head as quickly as he could, relishing the pleasant feeling of the air hitting his chest.
By the time he was done tugging off his pants and belt, his heart was already racing, he was going to be close to another person.
And of all people, Simon!
