Summary
Bruce has come across what might be the strangest thing: Superman is crying—well, a smaller version of him is crying, and he is at a loss on how… to proceed when faced with such a bizarre event. Superman doesn’t cry. And, Superman definitely does not look so small, and defeated.
Or which, Bruce meets Superman a total number of four times throughout a single timeline, and it is not an encounter he can simply bury and toss. It is a revelation.

Summary
The Justice League has too much time on their hands, Bruce internally criticizes.
That's the only explanation why they're playing "Fuck, Marry, Kill" for the entire cafeteria to see, right?
There's no other reason why he'd be on the list, right?
OR
Clark is not-so-subtly dropping hints, hoping that The World's Greatest Detective will throw the Kryptonian a bone.

Summary
"I'm a difficult person to love, Clark," Bruce says quietly, turning away from him to stare at some indistinct point across the cave. He's building a wall with that single sentence. Clark can feel it rise between them, made of stone and old grief. "I don't recommend it." He makes a small, humorless sound, as if that entire statement were some kind of punchline he's only just now understanding.
"Who asked for a recommendation?" Clark's reply comes out sharper than he intended, raw and a little too honest. "I'm a big boy, Bruce. I can make my own decisions."
(Or, as it turns out, Clark's feelings aren't as unrequited as he previously believed.)

Summary
The first time it happens, Bruce nearly dies. Part of him is grateful that his memory of his kiss-of-life was more in the knowledge that it happened than genuine recollection.
The second time it happens, Bruce felt like he was dying. How was he supposed to forget the feeling of his best friend's, his most trusted companion's, lips firm and insistent against his own?
The third time is different, but Bruce wishes aloud that it wasn't. Little did he know, this admission was all it would take to make his wish come true.
OR
Three times that Clark saves Bruce, twice from drowning and once that left him drowning in an entirely different way.
