You would have laughed before. Would have known exactly the right quip to sling at him, exactly the right way to singsong "my little reaper" so that he’d blush and sputter and try and fail to change the subject. Your heart just isn’t in it now. No matter how much you want it to be. All you can think about is the weight of his hands. All you can think about is the electricity that isn’t there anymore.
Or, Sunshine may be all talk, but there is one thing they're afraid of, at least: disappointing Casper.
