Years pass. The world grows larger, filled with new people, new places, and countless opportunities to move on. Yet somehow, every road seems to lead back to the little house beneath the magnolia tree.
Vincent still isn't entirely sure when admiration became affection, or when affection became something he couldn't seem to outgrow.
All he knows is that some things remain stubbornly constant.
Like summer evenings.

“We would love it if you brought a girl home soon, dear. Do try and find someone who makes you happy.”
Vincent’s hand hesitated on the doorknob, swallowing the small lump in his throat. Because he already knew he’d found that someone. With his condescending smile and soft curls, an incredibly bratty attitude and smart little comments for every situation. Despite every instinct telling him he should hate the other boy for everything he had done in the past, Vincent couldn’t explain the way his heart jumped every single time he thought about Alastor.
Unfortunately, he also knew that his parents would never accept him. Vincent still vividly remembered the last time his father had caught him kissing another boy. It was not something he could ever forget. His father had absolutely made sure of that.
Vincent had thought getting the boy was the hard part. Surviving senior year at Hazbin High School, might be worse.

Summary
Hazbin High School.
Some might call it literal Hell on Earth.
A pit of rampant cliques, unwanted school uniform policies, a drug problem he was fairly certain the staff were actively ignoring, and constant power struggles among the older students. It was all an absolute headache to navigate, and with full room and board he didn’t even get a chance to step away from it all at the end of the day. But Alastor had managed to carve out a small, comfortable space for himself here.
Well. He had.
Alastor comes back to Hazbin High after a years absence with no explanations given and no apologies offered. Unfortunately for everyone involved, his reputation never left.

Summary

Then one day, when Vincent is sixteen, Alastor catches him trying to hide a dead body.
And that changes everything between them.

Lucifer thought wearing comfortable shorts to breakfast was a harmless choice. He didn't account for Alastor’s sudden interest—or the fact that the Radio Demon's "judgmental staring” had morphed into a dangerous, hungry obsession with his legs.
