Soul_wanderer put a bunny up on the Heated Rivalry thread and it bit me really hard.
*okay, I kinda do need a fic where Shane figures out a pet name for Ilya, because they don't come to him naturally and he feels awkward (hello autism), all while Ilya doesn't ever hold back on the nicknames, both in Russian and English.
Ilya meets him with a gentle softness and tells him he's free to give different ones a try until he finds the one that feels right, and not once teases him when he sees Shane's initial discomfort 🥺❤️*
