Summary
“Rules aren't the same for everyone”
That’s the first painful lesson Sakura learns well into her first year in the Academy. Nothing to do with chakra or jutsus. No. Her first lesson is a bitter taste of reality.
The second one comes sooner than later, and while it doesn't catch her by surprise this time, it's not any less painful.
"Those who come from clans will never see civilians as equals"
Sakura is young and full of dreams but not stupid. She knows exactly what her place is in the food chain: At the very bottom, along with everyone like her. Clan shinobi are meant to stay on top and be the best, while the "common" shinobi become tools at best and sacrifices at worst. She's reminded of it everyday...until she gets tired of it.
Until Sakura decides she won't be more canon fodder for the village. And the only way to achieve that is by being too valuable to die.
With her wits and charm as her only weapons, Sakura is resolved to become a great kunoichi and shut everyone's mouths in the process.
Because as a simple civilian born girl surrounded by elite, the only way to survive is creating her own legacy.

Summary
Nakairi (中入り): when the performers step behind the curtain or set between the first and second half of a play to changes masks or costumes. Similar to an interval, intermission, or an entre'act.
"The interval is a rest for the spectators; not for the action," - Jean-François Marmontel, 1763
Just because most of Team 7 is gone, off striving for newer and greater heights, that doesn't mean the world stops for Haruno Sakura. In a world where she doesn't apprentice to the Godaime Hokage (can't, won't, what difference does it make when the result is the same?) her desperation leads her to a different solution: keeping Team 7 alive, anyway she can. Whether Kakashi-sensei wants her to or not.
Also known as: Sakura's World Tour.

Summary
"Shinobi, especially those above chuunin level or who have experience in warfare, should not be approached with any fast, secretive or possibly triggering movements. This can lead to a reflex that causes them to attack comrades and enemies indiscriminately without realizing their surroundings, and can prove especially dangerous for the less capable."
- Shinobi Handbook, Vol. 1 ch. 2Sakura doesn't think Naruto can even read, so she doesn't know why she expects him to know what's just the most important rule in the continued existence of their careers. Or lives.
Kami, Sakura isn't ready to die for this blonde idiot quite yet.

Soon, despite the neglect of her sensei and all odds seemingly against her, Sakura's destiny begins to change.
