Summary
Charlie had something to prove that night. She didn't fully understand why, but she knew she needed to. It was a rushed decision and she was horribly prepared, but she had to see it through to the end. One night. One night was all she needed to do that and she could move on with her life. Maybe even start to rebuild it properly after so long left in the dark. She was about to learn the horrible and terrifying lesson, however, that not all monsters are made of teeth and claws. Some of them were human. And some are far worse than others.
