Summary
Lyara Tauri is in the Rider's Quadrant because her narcissistic, self-absorbed ass of a father explicitly sent her here to die.
Well, fuck him very much. She's not dying here, and whatever she has to do to make that happen is more than fine with her.
She hopes he fucking chokes on it.

Summary
She lay there, rigid and trembling, as he worked. Heart hammering against cracked ribs. Terror singing through her veins. Who is Violet?
A fresh wave of nausea rolled through her, leaving her breathless and clammy. Pain flared deep in her chest, tearing another weak gasp from her battered lungs. The man immediately hushed her, mistaking it for fatigue."You’re safe," he murmured. "Rest. You’ll need your strength. The Riders Quadrant waits for no one."
Riders Quadrant. The words sparked against the fog in her brain — a flare of something too sharp, too familiar. Then another word drifted up from the wreckage of her thoughts.
Basgiath. Her mind seized on it instinctively and when the pieces clicked together like broken porcelain, when the knowledge slithered out of some buried place inside her, she almost vomited.
Basgiath.
The Riders Quadrant. From Fourth Wing, her mind supplied numbly. The book. The fucking book—

Summary
After the Calldyr Executions, Elise Riorson, the daughter of Fen Riorson, is kept in the city to be fostered by King Tauri himself. She spends the next five years as the royal family’s whipping girl, a hostage in all but name, while secretly training for the Riders Quadrant with Cam’s help.
The night before she leaves for Basgiath, Halden comes to her with a cruel offer, claiming it was her brother who killed Alic during Threshing two years ago: If she dies on Conscription Day, he and his father will consider the score settled and spare Xaden’s life.
It’s simple enough, right? All she has to do is to jump off the parapet, and Xaden will be safe. Except he is waiting for her on the wrong side of the parapet, and even though he can’t interfere with what happens on that death trap of a bridge, Liam Mairi can.

Summary
Six years after Tyrrendor’s successful defection from Navarre, the continent stood on the cusp of an uneasy alliance. Tyrrendor flourished, united under King Fen Riorson’s leadership. Poromiel thrived under the guidance of Queen Maraya Cordella, its military strength bolstered by advances in gryphon-mounted warfare. Navarre, led by the increasingly enigmatic King Tauri, struggled to maintain its veneer of dominance while hiding the truth about the Venin’s threat. Amidst this backdrop, the city of Calldyr in Navarre became the host for a historic leadership summit, its grandeur a thinly veiled attempt to project power.
