Summary
Megumi bunches the clothes up in his hands, presses his untainted wrists into the damp fabric. He wishes for it to stay, as he slowly pulls away to send everything into the washing machine to change their scents anew. His face is flushed and his hair askew. He runs a hand over his face to ground himself a little, shame running through him like ice cold water in replacement of his hot blood.
Something about Yuji's scent drives him absolutely crazy.

Blood, iron, has a savory taste if Yuji had to pick. Sweet and sour are far from it, though it carries the same excitement when it hits his tongue. Spice doesn't apply either, as it doesn't hurt his mouth in any way. It pleasantly coats the cavity of his mouth.And bitter would have the characteristic of an acquired taste. Megumi is not.
OR
Megumi has Hyperosmia. Yuji has Hypergeusia. Their attachment to each other takes a darker turn.

So anyways, Yuuji has stopped counting the number of times he woke up with his phone stuck to his cheek, an indent left in his face from it after the third time it happened in a week. One of these days he'll wake up from a cut, what with that stupid cracked screen.
Sukuna always laughs and laughs when Yuuji sends him selfies of him pouting with his cheek all red, smugly saying that it was simply because he wasn't there to put his own marks on Yuuji's skin that this happened, and this theory actually made way too much sense, so Yuuji also stopped sending those selfies after a while.

“I’m making a list,” Yuuji announces, fishing out his phone from his hoodie pocket, and then Megumi makes sure to give him just the bare essentials. More pads, painkillers, and baking soda for the stained underwear. Yuuji types the list diligently on one hand, stroking Megumi’s curled body through the futon absent-mindedly with the other.
When he’s done, Yuuiji pockets his phone and grins down at him brightly, “I’m going to make you the best bloody coochie care package in the whole world!”
Megumi bears the pain enough to lift one arm and whack Yuuji weakly on the thigh. “Don’t call it that!”
Yuuji yelps. “But that’s what it is!”
“Shut up!” Megumi pulls the covers back up and over his nose and mouth, to stifle his laughter. It hurts to laugh, but it’s worth it.
Yuuji’s laughing too. He bends over and presses his lips to Megumi’s forehead. “I’ll see you later, baby.”

Summary
For the most part, Yuuji’d been okay with all this. The condemned to die part of his life, at least. He’s always been better off living for someone else, whether for Gramps or his friends or the rest of humanity, so it makes sense that he’ll die for them all too. Sure, he’ll die young, and who knows what all he’ll miss, but that’s all the more reason to live with what he’s got.
The parts he’s not okay with leave him scrubbing blood out from beneath his nails for days, broken and cracked from suddenly growing out too long and too dark in the times when his memory is nothing but a blank.
After Shibuya, Yuuji has nightmares. Watching horror movies late into the night doesn't help with them, but it's better than the alternative.

Fushiguro Megumi is not a kind person.
But with Itadori, he finds it impossible to reign himself in, unable to prevent pouring his entire being into the boy, unable to stop giving. He wants to give and give and give, let Itadori take everything he offers and more – let Itadori run him dry so that when he has finally nothing left to give, he’ll still find a way to do so.
Itadori knows that Fushiguro isn’t good with words. He’s practical, blunt, and straightforward, but he understands what Fushiguro is trying to tell him as his lips urgently press unspoken words into his skin.
Me too, Itadori's heart sings. Me too, Fushi.
Alternatively: Sukuna, you better close your eyes or go to sleep or some shit, thinks Itadori. It’s about to get ultra fuckin gay.

Inumaki raises an eyebrow and huffs, unamused.
After a long moment, Itadori sighs heavily. “Okay fine, I’ll show you why. Please don’t like, be too horrified.” He then yanks his hood off and stretches his neck to the side, showing Inumaki a glimpse of the angry red-purple blotches.
Inumaki stares. And stares. And stares some more.
Then he nods very slowly, looks Itadori straight in the eyes, and solemnly says, “Tuna.” (The Inumaki-equivalent of “Damn.”)

Kugisaki glares at him, eyes venomous as she angrily swallows her soup. “I don’t even like boys, but if that’ll wake you up and get you to do something about… this-” she gestures at him unhelpfully “-so that I can stop watching you pine and make those dopey eyes at him while I’m trying to eat my goddamn food, I swear to god I will kiss him. Even if that repulses me to no end.”
“I-”
“Save it.” Kugisaki cuts him off. “Your shikigami could do better.”
Fushiguro jolts, his mind unhelpfully supplying the image of his jade hounds nuzzled against both sides of Itadori, licking and pawing at him. He sighs heavily. “Tell me about it.”

He says, slowly.Those are the pockets.

Summary
“You want to ruin him," Sukuna says.
Maybe Sukuna isn’t wrong about that, Fushiguro thinks in a daze. Itadori’s heart is too heavy and too precious. It’s a burden that shouldn’t be given to anyone else. Because even Itadori himself can’t take care of it, can’t hold onto it for the life of him because he’d rather become the vessel to the most wretched of all curses just to help two people he’s only known for a few months—to help Fushiguro, who he’d only met that night.
(I can keep it. Fushiguro’s hands move. I can hold onto it, if you want.)
Maybe Sukuna’s definition of ruin wasn’t all that wrong from what Fushiguro wanted after all. Maybe that did make him just as wretched.
But if Itadori was still willing to stay beside him, despite knowing that—
Then there was no reason for Fushiguro to let him go.
Or—
Some dreams start to keep Fushiguro up at night, and the cure to stopping them might be closer than he thinks.
