Bloodlust is an intricate thing.
It manifests in so many ways, and often allows power to accompany it.
This leads the two biggest rivals on the server to spar in a dusty clearing, far away from the grip of rules and other such societal concepts. In this clearing, it is just blood, sweat, and hard work.
In this very same clearing, so valued for it's humbled honesty, Technoblade will convince a green-eyed god to sink to his knees.

Summary
Dream is possessed by a dreamon. Sam walks in on him having a breakdown and screaming at the dreamon to get out of his head after he killed Tommy, and gets the wrong idea, thinking that Dream is incapable of controlling himself or his actions. In order to “help” Dream, he creates a program to subdue and control Dream, keeping him from hurting himself and others. (Basically muzzling, blindfolding, and restraining Dream to “pacify” him) Dream doesn’t need this help—what he really needs is an exorcism and therapy.

Summary
Dream didn’t quite know how or when, but at some point during his indeterminate stay there Pandora’s Vault had gone from being a curse to a blessing and he certainly wasn’t going to complain about it.
He wasn’t actually sure what had happened to the rest of the server, just that Sam was dead, some weird “Egg” entity was infecting everyone it could get its hands (vines?) on, and that the prison was essentially now a quarantine bunker and also the only thing keeping him alive at all.
Honestly, Dream couldn’t have been happier. This was a great improvement! Now that he wasn’t being plagued by sessions of torture and constant surveillence, he was freer than ever! He had everything he could’ve possibly needed right here in his cell.
He has his books.
His clock, long ago broken.
Boiling, soiled water that was barely drinkable.
A dwindling supply of rotting potatoes in the corner…
…he really was screwed, wasn’t he?

The boy doesn’t know where he is. All he knows are the claws of Hunger digging relentlessly into his stomach. He hasn’t eaten in so long. At some point, the boy thinks, there must be nothing left of him and then he’ll become air. Sometimes being air sounds nice, if he could just stop. But the Hunger doesn’t stop; it makes his feet move even when he thinks he cannot anymore.
