Summary
At age four, Anastasia's parents disappeared. They left her, she knew it was going to happen at some point though. She can't speak many words because growing up she was often ignored by her foster parents. She was really only somewhat social able with the other kids in the orphanage, not the staff. (This is when she wasn't being taken by foster parent volunteers) One of her foster parents did unspeakable things to her, he used religion to justify it. She felt disgusted and blamed herself for not being able to say no, it was a word she hadn't been able to say yet at the time, she was nine. He supposedly committed suicide by stabbing himself many times. (Later Annie would find out it was her "power" who killed the man- along with the other foster parents who had neglected her.) At age eighteen she was kicked out the orphanage; she had a phone two of her younger friends from the orphanage bought her as a goodbye gift. Anastasia had nowhere to go, so she went to the nearby seemingly never-ending foggy forest.
