Summary
Bab-Gathon has stood on the Sarru through three sieges, held less by the temple's gods than by one mortal man the city has quietly decided must be touched by something divine. He isn't. He is simply very good at not dying.
Bruce has survived three sieges by refusing to believe in gods. Then one shows up.
The court of the surviving gods sends the city a protector in earnest — young, newly charged, entirely unprepared for what it means to be present among mortals instead of remote from them — and Bruce Wayne, who trusts nothing he didn't temper himself, finds himself teaching a god how to hold a wall.

Summary
The story Clark had heard wasn't entirely clear and previous monster hunters who'd come investigating had been sent packing, unwilling to talk about it. Some details remained the same between retellings: there was a monstrous creature in this town, it punished crime and protected the town from invasion, and it occasionally asked for a human sacrifice.
In a castle overlooking a town lives a monstrous bat creature. It is the town’s protector and a source of fear. Clark Kent hears about these rumours and comes to investigate.

Summary
Clark and his father have traveled through many lands, learning different cultures while hunting the beasts that plague villages.
Over time, they became known as the Huntsman and Little Red. They arrive in a village called Gotham after hearing rumors of a wolf that haunts the nearby forest.

Bruce Wayne is alright. So alright in fact that he's out patrolling in the coldest nights of Gotham. Snow piles on his shoulders and despite the good insulation in his suit he feels cold.
He is also alone, on said rooftop, and nothing makes his body ache like loneliness. So, he lets his mind drift off to a certain kryptonian that's warm and bright like the sun...
