Summary
It began with a ticking, as Dr. John Watson had returned to their offices on Baker street. In the back of a drawer, hidden from sight, lay an object he had sworn he had never before seen nor handled in his life.
A peculiar, bronzed pocket watch- of unique design and significant heft. Why, he could hardly imagine it fitting in most pockets- and the stylized mustache upon its face almost had him considering whether it was some practical joke of his niece's.
But there was something more to it. He had solved enough cases with Holmes at this point to smell a mystery. What he didn't know, was where- or more precisely, when- this one would take him.
Nor could he have guessed at the peculiar, azure lady whose life he was about to become intricately entwined with.
