Jisung broke listening to the sounds of the fjord, watching the sun set over the mountains and the ocean as dark waves lapped at rocky shores. The air was so clear he could feel it through his whole body as he took a deep breath, like he was exfoliating his entire soul. The air was never this fresh, this clean, back home in Korea. It almost felt like he had never breathed right before this moment, like he had been filled with smog and sludge before.
He closed his eyes. Inhaled. Felt something in him settle, a ball of anxious energy unfurling in his chest that he hadn’t known was there in the first place.
He didn’t know it then, that this moment was his breaking point. He only realizes when he's standing in the library, making decisions his parents would probably refer to as reckless. But he thinks later, that everything that follows could be traced back to that one moment, standing by the fjord, breathing deeply for the first time in his life.

Chan, Jisung, Seungmin, and Jeongin are a pack. They aren't complete of course. Chan, head alpha, is obsessed with scenting the members of his pack despite it being excessive. According to Jisung, Chan needs a mate to give all of his attention to. Jisung has the worst heats. So instead of experiencing them he takes daily heat suppressants. Seungmin, the only beta, just wants to finish his degree and start work at the pack business Bang Wellness without getting scented to death by Chan every day. Jeongin is a young alpha who's doing what the others need him to do in the hopes he won't be abandoned.
They are about to complete their pack. With an omega who is willing to do anything to get in, an alpha who is too obsessed for his own good, a beta who isn't quite a beta, and an omega who doesn't take anyone's shit.
