"Ruka-jiichan, how did you and Kashi-jiichan get married?" two sets of matching sparkling blue, cerulean eyes look at Iruka expectantly. Kakashi immediately snaps his head to look at Iruka and the two boys on his lap with anxious eyes, knowing fully well where this was going and only wishing that the sofa would just eat him up. This helps pop the academy principal out of his moment of mortification and causes him to giggle quietly, smiling, "Well, that is a funny story actually. I suppose I should thank your papa and tou-chan for making it exciting though." he giggles some more and touches the scar above his nose lightly, "It all started on a moonlit night.."

“What do you mean?”
Eddie runs a trembling hand through his hair. “I was making lunch, and I wasn’t paying attention and he got out. I tried to get him, but I couldn’t—”
“But you did,” Buck cuts him off.
Eddie laces his hands together and pulls at a finger until the knuckle cracks. “I— I hesitated.”

"A now-familiar rage boils up in Eddie's chest, and he shakes out his limbs, baring his teeth in relief when they call his name again.
He'd been slated for three fights tonight, and this is his last one. Sweat is rolling down his back, and his body is probably going to ache in the morning, but he can't feel any of it yet because of the adrenaline.
Not only as he already fought twice tonight, he'd also won both matches, and he doesn't feel like stopping. His limbs are still loose, there's energy still sparking through his veins, and the fury that he's been trying to expel all night is still firmly settled behind his breastbone, tendrils winding up his throat as if to choke him.
He almost feels bad for whoever he's about to climb into the ring with."
