Summary
Omg, Xin, I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t heard it with my own ears. Professor Crowley, just now, on the phone—he called someone ‘angel’ as he rang off!! Like, a pet name!! And he was grinning like a loon the whole convo, too. I think he’s finally seeing someone!!!
The return text was nearly instantaneous. WHAT?? R u serious?? Omg, FINALLY!! I’m so happy for him!! 😃🎉🥰 Know anything about them?!?
Not much, I’m afraid.
Or: five times the people in Professor Anthony J. Crowley’s astronomy department were excited to learn more about the identity of their perpetually single colleague’s/professor’s mysterious new suitor, plus one time they didn’t have to wonder anymore.

Summary
Daniel came to lunch every Saturday and Sunday after that. It was toward the end of October that Simon turned to him for a private aside again.
“You and Randolph are friends, so I expect you’ve heard we’re going to Eraja in January. Him, me, and Henry the valet. We’re bringing some of Grandma Clara’s ashes back to her birthplace. And Randolph's going to try and make contact with Mum, if he can. If you’d like to come—?”
“Simon! Is that an invitation?”
His son—in a dove-gray suit this time, with an elegant black pinstriped tie—took a deep breath, then let it go and nodded. “Yeah. It is.”
“Wonderful! I accept. Thank you.”
Simon had taken a bite of sandwich in the meantime, and he mumbled his reply, but the idea of “you’re welcome” got across without any trouble.
On his way home that day, Daniel walked with an extra bounce in his step. He stopped at the menswear store in town, and picked out a nice new tie of his own. He would be seeing Mary soon, after all.

Summary
Daniel Jones entered the living room bearing two mugs on a tray. “So! Start at the beginning, if you please.”
Randolph snorted as he accepted the coffee mug from his host. “That’s easy enough. Not to put too fine a point on it, Daniel, but the boy’s figured it all out. All of it. One hundred percent of the things that Mary told me you and she had planned to keep quiet from him until he came of age. Plus a few additional things that I’m not totally clear on myself.”
“You’re kidding! He knows about the heist?” Daniel shifted a stack of magazines, set his own mug down on an end table, and sat in the squashy upholstered chair next to it.
“Well, he’s got your skill with puzzles, his mother’s sheer stubbornness, and both of your brains. We probably shouldn’t be too surprised that he kept picking at Mount Holly’s secrets even after he found Room 46.”
Daniel slapped his open palm on the arm of his chair. “You’re probably right about that, I have to admit. Damn. " He sighed and took a sip of his coffee. “So what do we do now?”
“No clue. That’s part of why I came to you.”

Summary
He made the rules now. The will, and the secrets it had eventually led to, had seen to that.
And some of the rules would be changing, now that he was officially the Baron. For one thing, he was no longer interested in going one single step further in this madness without consulting the group of people he’d been referring to inside his head as “the adults.” His employees now, he supposed. In any case, it was time to meet them in person. Time to demand detailed answers from them. Politely, of course. He didn't want them to quit. But very firmly.
Or, a look at what might have happened when Simon finally calls back the Mt. Holly staff

Summary
“You were…dreaming. Very vividly, I could tell. You talked a lot in your sleep."
Logico waited, his heart rate increasing and with it the beeping on the monitor next to him. What had he said?
“I think you were dreaming that we were back in college. Together. Maybe not, like, together-together—“ Irratino brandished their clasped hands—“but that we actually knew each other. Solved mysteries together, like we do now."

Summary
This is a GO3 fixit fic
The premise is: I don't think Aziraphale would have stayed away for nearly 3 years then only come back when he needed something. I don't. And if he'd come back sooner, what would have changed? How would the plot have unfurled if they had more time and not just one lousy day together?

Summary
“Why…” the angel started shakily. “Why give me Crowley? Why make me complete... and then take it away?”
From his chair, Crowley made a sound that could only be described as “Ngk.”
In her own chair, God sighed.
"Aziraphale,” She said, something akin to sorrow passing over Her face. “The only thing I ever gave you, any of you, was the will to choose. I didn’t give you Crowley. I couldn’t! He’s not mine to give or take. No, dear, Crowley gave himself to you. And that’s the beauty of it all, isn’t it? The beauty of life. Of living. That despite it all, you get to choose.”
“And you’re not… angry? That I chose Crowley too?”
At this, God laughed.
“Not in the slightest. Your love for each other... is as messy, silly, and predictable as the universe itself. And it’s always made me smile. How could I ever be angry at that?”
“Oh,” said Aziraphale.
“Erm,” followed Crowley, eloquently.
