Caitlyn still knew Vi’s body like the back of her hand. She knew her sensitive areas, knew the spots that made her laugh, knew the spots that made her moan, tremble, and unravel. That’s what really made this all so dangerous, because deep down, Caitlyn knew Vi had the exact same depth of knowledge about her.
Or, two years after breaking up, Vi and Caitlyn have done a terrible job of pretending like they don’t want to devour each other whole.

“Sorry, cupcake, didn’t know where else to go.” It’s more or less the truth. Vi didn’t know how she climbed out of the undercity at this hour, all she had known was that no one down there was going to help her and there was someone in Piltover who would. It was strange, to need help in a town she used to know so intimately and not have a single person to stitch her up, but sometimes that’s just the way it goes. Either way, she’s at Caitlyn’s door now.
Long after they had met, Vi and Caitlyn began to sleep with each other. It was a casual affair, all flesh and tongues and desperation. It was nothing, two sort-of-maybe friends blowing off some steam. Until it became more than it should have been and Vi couldn't take it. Months later, she's bleeding out on Caitlyn's doorstep. Funny how things work out this way.

“Apologies, Ms. Kiramman. Your room hasn't been prepared yet.”
Vi paused in her tracks, glancing over her shoulder, and her eyes locked onto Caitlyn's form. She was locked in a heated discussion with the receptionist, making Vi sigh and roll her eyes.
She walked over to Caitlyn, shooting a charming smile at the receptionist before she turned her gaze to Caitlyn, grabbing her bicep. “Come on, princess. You can room with me tonight so this poor receptionist doesn't die from the glare you give her.”
She turned to the receptionist again. “I’m sorry about her. She’s an only child and doesn't know the concept of patience.” Vi drawled, shooting a glare at Caitlyn before she dragged her towards the elevator. She grabbed the other woman's Mercedes backpack and shrugged it over her shoulder along with her own.
“I’m not a child. You can just drag around, Violet!” Caitlyn protested with a hiss.
“Then stop acting like one!”
