She was staring at her world history book at a picture of Captain America and his friend “James Barnes.” She just couldn’t get why the guy looked so damn familiar and then it clicked. That was her damn nose. This guy was related to her. Had to be.
Winnie read a little farther to see that his middle name was Buchanan. James Buchanan Barnes. Wow, Winnie really was a dumbass. Grandma Becca’s maiden name was Barnes. Winnie was named after Winifred Barnes. Buck must have been short Bucky. Bucky Barnes. Oh my god. Captain America was gay.

Duncan knows it is a jest. He’d taken off from Ashford the moment Baelor had risen from his deathbed. He knows it is a jest because it has taken an entire spring for their paths to cross again.
But Baelor doesn't sound upset. He sounds as if he is smiling and Duncan wishes nothing more than to see, but he refuses. His gaze digs into the sweet cakes, never up at the Prince.
"Tart cakes," Baelor says, misunderstanding his staring. "You've chosen to wear the eyepatch I’ve given you?"
