He discovers that ghosts from his past are the cause. Said ghosts, or what remains of the High-Cloud Quintet, try their best to fix what remains.

Summary
Jing Yuan receives a fatal blow, but instead of passing on peacefully to the afterlife, he regains consciousness to find himself transported into the past, before the Quintet had formed.
This second chance he resolves to live without regrets, to prevent the tragedies to come, and to pursue his first loves.
Aka I had Feels about Jing Yuan being…kind of left behind in the past after 1.2. Wrote this to comfort myself.
Note: This is our present day in-game aged Jing Yuan transported into the past. I conveniently made no existing Jing Yuan present in that “alternate universe”.
